Organized by three Yale ISM students, this is the first of a series of recordings of works from under-represented composers, including Fanny Hensel, Anna von Prussia, and George Walker.
The culminating recital of my master’s program at Yale, I’ll be performing cantatas by Handel and Rameau, as well as song cycles by Robert Owens and Schubert.
I’ll be a vocal fellow in an online workshop led by NYC–based early music ensemble ARTEK. The focus of this workshop performance is the early 17th century “Carlo G” manuscript, a collection of anonymous madrigals with detailed ornamentation and keyboard realization.
The first of two recitals I’ll perform at Yale during the M.M. program. Featuring Schumann Liederkreis Op. 24, Handel Dalla guerra amorosa, 16th century Spanish song accompanied by Vihuela, and selections from 20th-century French composers.
